The date of September 10th for Apple’s next keynote has not yet been officially confirmed, but if it were, we would be 20 days away from that event where the new iPhones will be presented. And with that date so close, more clues of the details that can have the iPhone 11 are still coming .
From DigiTimes (reflected in MacRumors) we get the new data about the battery of those iPhone 11: could be up to 3,500 MAh in the case of the iPhone 11 Max. For the iPhone 11 and ’11 XR’ the battery would be 3,200 and 3,000 mAh respectively. Currently the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR have batteries of 2,658, 3,174, and 2,942 mAh respectively. That is, there would be a slight improvement in all three models.
At AppleThe release date of iPhone 11 would have been revealed by an oversight of the president of SoftBank: September 20th
In addition to this data, DigiTimes also mentions the absence of 3D touch on the upcoming iPhones. It also comments on the ability to charge accessories and the existence of a special model of the iPhone 11 (or at least a 5.8-inch model) with a slot for two SIM cards especially for China.
Another source, the ChargerLAB’s Twitter, reiterates the possibility that the new iPhones will finally include a USB-C charger and abandon the Lightning connector as was the case with the iPad Pro. The source doesn’t exactly have a good track record, but now that the iPad Pro has USB-C we can’t rule out that possibility. Perhaps it’s something reserved for those iPhone Pro that have also appeared in the rumors?
