“Es importante que sea un recurso educacional”: Jonathan Ive habla del nuevo libro de Apple
We have good news and bad news. Let’s start with the good news: Jonathan Ive , head of design for all Apple products, will be giving a talk in Madrid as part of a Norman Foster Foundation forum. The bad news, before you start looking for a way to get into that talk: the tickets are sold out.
Ive’s speech is part of the opening ceremony of a new headquarters of the Norman Foster Foundation in the Spanish capital . As we have already said several times, Norman Foster’s firm has designed the Apple Park side by side with Steve Jobs. And therefore it is not uncommon to see executives from the apple company at events like this.
The forum, entitled “Future is Now”, brings together several personalities from design and architecture to discuss the future of cities . In addition to Ive, the mayor of Madrid, Manuela Carmena, Norman Foster, the former mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, and the Spanish designer, Patricia Urquiola, will also participate.
Ive’s talk will take place in the mid-morning, will (of course) address the intersection of technology and design and will include an interview conducted by Financial Times editor Gillian Tett. Everything will be done inside the Teatro Real in Madrid next Thursday, June 1st, so Jony will have a busy schedule a few days before preparing for WWDC.
