the developers will be able to have a person with the role of customer service

It was something we knew about a few months ago with the changes in the App Store and iOS 10.3, but it’s only now that Apple has finally enabled this new functionality for developers. With this, developers can assign a person on their team to act as customer service between users and apps answering their questions and opinions left on the App Store.

This new role has been created so that in large development teams where they can’t cope with answering users, they can hire people who are dedicated solely to this, without permissions within iTunes Connect to modify or view anything other than user feedback . It is ultimately an integrated customer service for each application in the App Store.

This is just another step towards a renewed App Store . For a little over a year now, the changes to the App Store have begun with the introduction of subscriptions, the removal of obsolete apps, the redesign of the App Store in iOS 11, and this feature that allows customers to be answered directly in the App Store. In the fall we will see all these changes come true with the release of iOS 11.
