Accompanied by iOS 9 during the keynote pass we could see the arrival of watchOS 2.0, which is the latest version of the Apple Watch operating system. Like iOS 9, it comes with some interesting new features that will make it the best operating system for wearables .
Neither Apple Watch -in Spain and Latin America- nor watchOs 2.0 are available at the moment , so to calm down a little bit until it arrives and is available for everybody, we are going to see in video all the news that watchOS brings.
As you can see in the video, there are several interesting features that watchOS brings in its latest version. First of all -and although it may seem silly- it brings 3 new dials , one of them shows a timelapse , another one shows a personalized photograph and the last one shows a watch in night mode perfect to leave it showing all night long.
But this is not the only thing that also includes improvements when interacting with friends , an option to move through time and see future events easily with the digital crown and the ability to make FaceTime audio calls – yes, talk to the clock, the future.
All this is further enhanced by the “native” applications that are supported in the new version. This means that developers will be able to create applications directly for the Apple Watch without having to constantly load data from the iPhone. However, this does not appear in the video.
Obviously the device is still quite limited, but this step with watchOS 2.0 is a big step towards making the Apple Watch fully independent in the future . Many new features and many more to come, for now let’s enjoy the video.
