Viewfinder is an application that searches the popular flickr image service from your Mac desktop. It’s made by connectedflow , the people responsible for the FlickrExport plugins for iPhoto and Aperture (by the way, some versions are cursing Apple for having incorporated this connectivity in their photo applications) and therefore it’s already a guarantee.
“Viewfinder”:http: In addition with double click we will download the image in the greater possible measurement , but the possibilities of the application do not finish here since it will allow us to establish like desktop bottom a certain image or to send it to Keynote (it is necessary to have an opened presentation, that if it will not give us error). It can also be used to copy the details and license of the image to the clipboard and we will have a kind of Quicklook to enlarge those images that call our attention.
It’s marked 17 euros (15 GBP) as the introductory price and we’re told it will go up to 4 euros more, up to 21 euros when version 1.1 comes out. I’m sure it’s very comfortable to use and with great possibilities, it makes our work much easier when downloading flickr images, but for the moment I think charging that price for actions one can do on the flickr site is quite abusive. I hope that they also include many more options such as being able to perform searches focused on our contacts or make more options with the results offered once the search is done.
