At this point in the film, no one can deny that Instagram has been a revolution. Millions of users on iOS, a breakthrough launch for Android and the culmination of its success being purchased by Facebook for $1 billion. Twitpic , seeing all this as a service to share images from Twitter, has decided to launch its own official application for iOS .
Because the Twitpic application allows us to do almost the same thing as with Instagram: take a picture and apply certain modifications to it to share it with our friends, at the same time as we see the images that they have shared. Only instead of applying simple filters, Twitpic makes use of the Aviary editor to allow us some extra editing functions : crop the photo, rotate it, modify the brightness… that’s the difference compared to Instagram.
Twitpic is intended for use with the iPhone, integrates seamlessly with our Twitter account, is free and requires iOS 5 to work. For those who use Twitpic as their main image publishing service with our Twitter messages this application can be interesting.
