Trial Extreme 2 Winter Edition (Gratis, aunque por tiempo limitado)
Do you like trial games? This week we are talking about Trial Extreme 2 Winter Edition, a game that despite having some weaknesses that should be improved, saves us real time of entertainment on board our sport bike. But always be careful not to run too much to get to the end of the course safely. Do you want to know more about the game? Come on in and read it yourself.
At the end of last year, in December, I told you about Trial Extreme, a trial bike game that left me wanting more after trying out the free version of it.
For those of you who have played it and it happened to you as it did to me, this week in our section I’ll tell you about Trial Xtreme 2 Winter Edition, a edition of the second part of this magnificent game that its developer has chosen to set in winter.
As we did in the first part, we must venture with our trial bike through the different scenarios and levels of the game, with the intention of overcoming them without falling off (and if we do, it must be the minimum number of times). In addition, time plays an important factor in our score.
Graphics and soundtrack.
Like its big brother, the game has third-person view , but it doesn’t let down its graphics (but I recognize that they could be better). The shadows, reflections, the snow when it falls… it’s quite accomplished, but it could be improved in terms of resolution and realism, especially when it comes to drum explosions and falls.
If I find something negative, it’s that on an iPhone 4 I found it quite slow even after rebooting the terminal several times. However, the developer guarantees its compatibility even on an iPhone 3GS.
Also, the soundtrack of the game is not bad at all even though it is simple.
Controls and physics
Here the game has followed in the footsteps of its predecessor: simple controls and realistic physics.
The controls will allow us to advance and brake on one side, while on the other side we will be able to tilt the pilot forward and backward, thus managing to tilt his vehicle and be able to overcome all the obstacles that we will find in our way. In addition, we also have the option of replacing these last controls with the accelerometer of our device.
As far as physics is concerned, it is realistic , even if it sometimes has a few errors. However, if I have to mark something as negative, it is the bad coordination of this with the controls, since sometimes the bike has fallen to the ground when it should not.
Personally, you know how much I like this kind of games, although I think this one should solve the problem with physics , giving it more realism and verisimilitude. Of course, the 30 new levels set in a winter scenario are a joy (and even more difficult than the first part of the game).
No doubt a game for those who like the genre, but it needs to be improved in some respects.
