This week will be one of the most active so far this year in Cupertino, since next Friday Apple will start with the reservations for its new product , the Apple Watch, which will land in stores in nine countries and from today everything should be ready to receive the future buyers who will receive their watch on April 24.

For this reason, a few moments ago Tim Cook has just sent an email to everyone who works at Apple celebrating the arrival of the most personal device ever created by the company, as well as thanking all the workers for their efforts which will be reflected in the coming days.

The way to thank all these at Apple is by offering a significant discount on the purchase of an Apple Watch , which for the sport and steel version will be 50%, while for the Edition version will be $550. If you wish to buy additional straps, here the discount will be 10%. This special plan will be valid for all employees of the company and will be valid for 90 days from the date of release of the watch.

To make a comparison, after the launch of the iPhone, it was given to a large number of employees at Apple, but not all, while when the iPad arrived there was no discount or gift applicable to this product.

On the other hand, inside this mail you can also read how Tim Cook confirms that from March 31st to Saturday April 4th they have received more than a thousand applications compatible with Apple Watch from all the developers interested in adapting their app to the new clock.
