One of the latest installments in the Total War saga, Thrones of Britannia, will land on MacOS and Linux at the end of April. These games for me are impressive, being an unconditional fan of the saga. In the Mac App Store we can find deliveries as mythical as Medieval II Total War, and soon we will have the last of this saga.
For those who do not know Total War, these are a series of turn-based strategy games based on feats of history. This is the description of this new game that we’ll see on the Mac that we found on the official website of the company.
Thrones of Britannia is set in the British Isles, in 878 AD, where we find Anglo-Saxons, Gaelic clans and Viking settlers competing for supremacy. Players will be able to control one of ten factions, each with a unique branching narrative, and make decisions that reshape history in unexpected and exciting ways. Combining massive real-time battles with exciting turn-based strategy, Thrones of Britannia challenges players to build and defend a kingdom. Players can ally themselves, manage settlements, form armies and embark on a campaign of conquering the Gaelic Highlands of Scotland by snowing the green fields of Anglo-Saxon Kent.
The release date will be the end of April, although in Windows it has already been revealed that will be released on April 19 . The price hasn’t been mentioned, although I guess will be around 40-50 euros without much trouble , based on previous releases.
For me it is a mythical saga in Windows and it is very positive that is coming to the Mac App Store. If you like this kind of turn-based strategy game, this could be a 10 buy for you.
Let me know in the comment box if you are a fan of the Total War saga and if you will buy this game.
