Last month we learned the date of the opening of the new Apple Store in Milan . Located in Piazza del Liberty, this store has one of the most impressive entrances in the world. Now, Apple has shared a series of photographs of the opening that took place yesterday in this Italian city.

Angela Ahrendts went to Italy for the opening of the Apple Store in Milan. Ahrendts is Senior Vice President of retail , reports directly to Tim Cook and is in charge of the company’s retail strategy. There she posted this photo on her Twitter account, where she can be seen traveling around the world.

For the inauguration quite a few people have gathered , judging by the photos of the event that some Twitter users have shared on the social network.

Apple has shared a series of photos from yesterday’s opening on its website. After the opening, the free Today at Apple sessions began where users can learn new ways to use their products.

As usual at the Apple Stores, there was time for a live concert by the Milan artist L I M.

And also for shopping . Apparently, the first customers have received a cloth bag created for the occasion with local artists.

Of course, Tim Cook didn’t want to miss the opportunity to tweet about the opening of the new establishment.

The truth is, the store looks amazing. Let’s hope that in the next few years the company will once again set its sights on Spain and open new Apple stores (especially in the north of Spain).
