As we know, in a few months we will know the evolution of iOS and OS X at WWDC 2016 in June. Today we bring you a video that aims to delight many, who have been asking for a customizable Control Center in iOS for years . It has been the designer Sam Beckett who gives life to the animations and brings us interesting features.
First, 3D Touch will have utility in Control Center, where according to the button we press we can access different options. If we make a long press on the buttons, they will be reoriented to our taste, like the icons of the springboard . We can even put and remove buttons as we like to put the ones that are really useful.
The Dark Mode that will arrive in iOS 9.3 in the next weeks, but in iOS 10 could be more customizable as suggested in the video , with the possibility to access the options without leaving the Control Center itself.
Let’s remember that the Control Center was introduced in iOS 7 in 2013, and the only notable improvement it has had besides some change in the position of the icons will be the iOS 9.3 Night Shift. But with what they propose in this concept we would have direct access to deeper controls, such as battery, location, mobile data, internet sharing, etc . These are features that we still have a long way to go in Settings, and according to which users would be best served by a fingertip.
At the moment we don’t know anything more about iOS 10, beyond speculations and some rumors , like the one we knew the other day that the app of photos would be more complete, along with the OS X one. What we do know for sure is that it will arrive sometime in September or October of this year, the same day that iPhone 7 comes out.
