The Eurasian database is giving us the tip-off again. No less than seven new iPad model numbers running iOS 12 as an operating system have appeared in their records, which means that we should be quite close to seeing the release of a new generation of those tablets. These are the model numbers A2123, A2124, A2126, A2153, A2154, A2133 and A2152.
The new iPads are most likely the rumored iPad mini 5 and a new basic iPad that would go from 9.7 to 10 inches thanks to a slight reduction in its frames. We’ve been hearing these rumours for quite some time now, and the Eurasian database has always been a very safe indicator of their upcoming release.

The seven numbers would each belong to a different amount of storage, so we may see three or four models depending on their space for each new iPad. Normally, from the time we’ve seen model numbers for new products in the Eurasian database to their launch, it’s been a few weeks. We may be a month or less away from seeing those products .
The signals are clear and fit quite well: iOS 12.2 has just been released in beta and has already revealed new features like “Oye Siri” on some AirPods. We are one month away from the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, where all the competition will also launch new features in their product ranges. And the buzz is also full of new accessories such as a headset, the AirPods with wireless charging or the Air Power.
Will we perhaps see an event in February or March that encompasses all those releases? The chances for that to happen are not very high, but they certainly aren’t non-existent either. Let’s cross our fingers.
