This year Apple will not be hosting the developer community, media and other fans of the brand at Apple Park for its regular WWDC. However, in the absence of personalized invitations or ticket sales, the company has prepared previews for those interested to be part of that day. Many of us have started by creating our Memoji or downloading a Wallpaper suggested by the firm to go along with the occasion, and from today we can also write a reminder to watch the event from YouTube.
This Wednesday Apple has shared on its official YouTube channel the link to the live video of this event , so that users can set up a reminder for next Monday June 22, before the presentation begins with the opening speech of the developers’ conference.
WWDC 2020 will be the second Apple special event to be broadcast on YouTube. The first was in September 2019 when the company introduced the iPhone 11. Previously, the company also broadcast live events on Twitter, but so far no reference has been made to this possibility.
To keep track of the live broadcast of the first WWDC 2020 keynote on YouTube, choose the “Set reminder” option to receive a notification when Apple officially launches on Monday. However, the platform status and other sections of WWDC will remain exclusive to Apple’s developer website and the updated app from March for this event.
In addition to YouTube, the event starting at 10:00 a.m. -in California- will be broadcast “directly from Apple Park” and will also be available for viewing through Apple’s website, the Apple Developer application, the Apple TV application.
The exclusively online format of WWDC 2020 is not the only special feature of the traditional conference. This year, Apple is expected to share many more new features, but not only in software updates as the reason for the event, but there is also expected to be room for hardware to have a starring role.
