La entrada de Apple en el mundo de las series y películas será “superficial” según el CEO de Fox
The apple company continues to be committed to creating original content, which is why Variety has just announced that the company is working on a series of half-hour chapters on the life of poet Emily Dickinson , a story that will star Hailee Steinfeld.
According to the publication, Apple describes the series as a “comical look at Dickinson’s world” that explores the “limitations of society, gender and family from the perspective of a writer who does not fit into his own time” .
Similarly, the information indicates that Alena Smith, who was previously the writer of “The Affair” and “The Newsroom”, will be the writer and executive producer of the series . David Gordon Green, known as “Stronger”, Red Oaks, “Vice Directors” and “Pineapple Express” will be the director of this original Apple title.
For those who are not sure, Steinfeld is an actress and singer known for her roles in “True Grit”, “Pitch Perfect 2”, “Pitch Perfect 3”, “Ender’s Game” and for her role in the film “Edge of Seventeen”.
At the moment there are no more details about this series, nor has Cupertino’s firm indicated when all the shows that have been announced in recent months will be released. According to MacRumors, it is expected that the premieres will start to happen from 2019.
