Office 2016 para Mac ya puede probarse a 64 bits en el canal Insider
They’re going at their own pace, but it’s always good news to see how Microsoft occasionally updates its version of Office for MacOS more often than we used to see a few years ago. And now that we have access to its Insider Beta channel, we can see what we’re going to see as the main new feature in the future. The latest? Touch Bar support for the new MacBook Pro .
Microsoft itself tells us in its official statement that we will have the “most relevant commands” of Office available in the MacBook Pro touch bar. The integration will be present in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and also in Outlook (no, they don’t forget Outlook, and that’s good news too).
For the images, Office will mainly show us the format buttons in a similar way to what we can already see in Pages, Numbers or Keynote. In Excel we can also see the operations and the Business version of Skype will show us some extra options that we can use during your calls.
If you want to try this Office integration with the Touch Bar right now you have to be from the Office Insider Beta program, which in turn requires an Office 365 subscription. If you prefer to use it when it officially and stably appears, then you have to wait a few months until Microsoft makes an update of its office suite.
