The new Mac Pro will not only bring us new Thunderbolt Displays almost certainly but will also be accompanied by a new version of Final Cut Pro X .
The beta of the new version of FCPX has been in the hands of some professionals who have been able to see the new features that it will bring although there is no great data due to the confidentiality agreements. But as Apple itself announces in the video editor section, along with the Mac Pro will come a new FCPX.
The current version of FCPX available is 10.0.8 and it has to be recognized that it is going very well. Since its release almost two years ago, the video editor has been incorporating new features that, despite the criticism from the industry, are attracting more and more professionals.
The main expectation for the next version is that it will take advantage of all the new features that OS X Mavericks will include as well as better support for the coming beast, the Mac Pro.
The new Intel Xeon E5 processors, the dual graphics AMD FirePro , the RAM memory expandable up to 128GB and its fast storage, not to mention the possibilities of expansion via Thunderbolt 2, will make editing in it a real experience.
If it’s a joy to work on computers such as an Intel Core i3-based iMac right now, the new iMacs are great. The Mac Pro lets you work at 4K resolution without breaking a sweat. Keeping that background rendering work you currently do without noticing it thanks to the graphics power.
All in all, autumn looks interesting for millions of professionals who were waiting for news to renew their equipment and also for all those for whom FCPX is their working tool.
