At AppleApple a new Apple Store will open in Japan in the Marunouchi district
The Marunouchi Apple Store is located near the Imperial Palace and opposite the historic Tokyo Station . In the words of Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People, this opening marks a significant moment in the apple firm’s relationship with Japan.
“Marunouchi has incredible energy and our teams can’t wait to welcome customers to our largest store in Japan for the first time on Saturday” , said O’Brien.
It was at the end of July that Apple confirmed its intention to continue expanding in Japan with the opening of two new Apple stores before the end of 2019 . Just 15 minutes from the first Apple store in Japan, in Ginza, the firm of the block took over a corner of the Mitsubishi building, a tower with shops and offices overlooking Tokyo station.
