The new MacBook Pro will arrive on Thursday, but the iMac and 5K display will have to wait according to KGI

KGI is one of the entities that gets more reports about Apple and consequently that gets more credibility when it ventures to say what is the next move of Apple. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo , who was in fact the first to talk about the possible MacBook Pro touch panel, now explains what is expected from next Thursday’s event.

According to the different rumors of these months, Kuo believes that Apple will present this Thursday a MacBook Pro as the main novelty. However, we are not expecting a renewal of the iMac yet nor the Thunderbolt Display , which according to KGI and according to their research, is not ready to be released yet.

Ming-Chi Kuo has explained in a kind of list what the features of the new MacBook Pro will bring :

  • An OLED touch panel
  • Unlocking via Touch ID
  • USB-C
  • Same keyboard as MacBook
  • Intel Skylake Processor
  • Same screen resolution but higher quality
  • Possibility of storage of 2 TB
  • USB-C charger but with MagSafe style adapter
  • Increased efficiency of battery use
