A MobileCrunch reader has reported the following:
June 21st becomes a date that arouses suspicions, since WWDC 2010 will be held at the beginning of that month, and it will surely be in the keynote of that annual event that Steve Jobs will present the new Apple phone. There were already rumors that its launch would be almost immediate, but if we pay attention to that date in AT&T customer contracts, it could be that June 21st would be the launch date. Either that, or the iPhone would be released the day after the keynote but 3GS owners won’t be able to update it for a few weeks, as a control measure to try to minimize shipping delays.
For the time being, AT&T customers will surely enjoy a discount if they want to upgrade their iPhone, which leads us to say that there will most likely be a new model on the street by that time. It’s already less.
