A few months ago we told you about the arrival of a new bank at Apple Pay , specifically N26 , which is now compatible.
With this new arrival, in Spain we now have 8 financial institutions to make our purchases from an Apple device.
Possibly before the end of the year and the beginning of 2018, we will see new additions from other banks.
Apple Pay is growing at a good pace, both in users and in banks that are partnering to enable customers to use this payment system. Banco Santander, OpenBank, CaixaBank, Carrefour, American Express, ImaginBank, Boon and now N26 .
Apple Pay is really simple to set up and use, where we’ll simply need a device that supports the Contactless technology to bring our iPhone or our Apple Watch closer to making a purchase.
The adaptation is being very positive, it is increasingly common to make some payment with some of these devices, where small and medium businesses are seeing it as a normal and current payment system , fading the great novelty.
BBVA is a fairly strong entity where it does not yet have a presence on Apple Pay. It currently has an exclusivity with Android Pay, so we have to wait until this exclusivity ends to be able to expand to Apple Pay.
If you have already become a N26 customer so that you can make payments with a Apple Pay compatible device, you can start configuring your iPhone and Apple Watch to begin paying with them.
Are you an N26 customer? Have you already set up your device to purchase with Apple Pay?
