The iPhone of 2020 will have 5G and a new screen size according to Kuo

We still don’t know what this year’s iPhones will look like, but there are already many rumors that give us an idea of what features the 2020 iPhones will incorporate. Specifically Ming-Chi Kuo has published a report in Economic Dailys News where confirms that these iPhones will incorporate 5G technology among other improvements that we tell you about below.

The 5G is already a reality in our environment. Without going any further in Spain, this connectivity is being implemented little by little by such important operators as Vodafone , which is going hand in hand with Huawei. This is why several telephone companies such as Samsung have decided to launch one of their top-of-the-range products with this type of connectivity this year.

From Apple it seems that they don’t want to include this connectivity in 2019, but not because they don’t have the possibility to do it since we must remember that the alliance between Qualcomm and Apple would allow them to do it. The reason that would make Apple launch its first 5G iPhone in 2020 as Ming-Chi Kuo points out would be because of economic issues and because the infrastructure to exploit 5G is still not widespread at the moment. In Spain, for example, few areas are adapted to 5G and we will have to wait and see how they expand.

Going into more detail on this feature, the technology guru claims that the iPhone 5G in 2020 would support sub-6GHz standards such as mmWave which are the leaders in this regard today.

In addition to including the 2020 iPhone with 5G connectivity, the technology guru says we will also see new screen sizes. From Apple they would continue to bet on OLED panels, as it could not be otherwise, but we would have a 6.1 inch model (which would be the successor to the iPhone XR) that would only incorporate LTE connectivity, and others two models of 6.7 and 5.4 inches that would support 5G connectivity.

At the moment we don’t know what the iPhone XI will look like, although everything points to it having a triple camera and an induction charging system on its back to recharge the AirPods. Leave us in the comment box what you think of these new features that are being rumoured for the new mobile device of 2020, do you think they will be fulfilled?
