The new terminal that will come out of Cupertino, the possible iPhone 8, could be launched in limited quantities. Let’s see more details.
Since the beginning of time the strategy of limited quantities in marketing has been used to create in the user that need that he didn’t have before, making him to buy the product for fear of being left without it. Also, by achieving this, it will give the user a sense of exclusivity for having something that others do not. This is a strategy followed on numerous occasions since Cupertino, as with the AirPods, and which could be repeated with the iPhone 8.
As we can see in MacRumors, and according to Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O’Malley and Jerry Zhang, the next terminal to be launched from Cupertino will be presented in September but most of its stock will not be available until the fourth quarter . These analysts also predict that the star feature of this device will be a 5.8-inch OLED curved screen.
In this way, a small number of devices would be available for shipment in the month of their presentation but it would not be until weeks later that the bulk of the stock would be available to the mass of users. So, once again, we could find that minutes after the opening of the reservations, the planned delivery dates already reach the waiting weeks . One of the reasons for this delay, apart from pure commercial strategy, would be the innovations integrated in this terminal that would make the manufacturing process more complicated.
Among those features, analysts predict that this iPhone 8 will include a 5.8-inch OLED display with 5.15 usable as well as wireless charging. The Touch ID sensor will be integrated into the front of the screen , using the remaining space for additional functions. As for other innovations, this terminal could include a larger battery or 3D sensors on the screen.
