iPhone 7 has finally dispelled all the unknowns and questions. It has a familiar design, but different from the iPhone 6 and 6s. After months of speculation, it will come in only two “flavors”: 4.7 and 5.5 inches. Both models will have up to 25% better screen brightness, plus the new A10 Fusion chip. This essential component of the iPhone is up to 40% more powerful than the previous A9, thanks to its 4 cores.
iPhone 7 in Spain and Mexico on September 16th
But what will really please future iPhone 7 buyers is that both Spain and Mexico will be part of the first wave of countries. Note this date, because the new Apple terminal lands on September 16th . This means that bookings will open one week earlier, on the 9th.
So those interested in acquiring the new terminal will have little time to put their personal finances in order. The complete list of countries that are part of this wave is: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico , Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain , Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, United Kingdom and United States.
Finally, Spain and Mexico will be part of the first wave of countries to receive the new iPhone 7
Mexico will be the only Latin American country to receive the iPhone 7 in the first and second wave, since Apple has not given a date for the rest of the countries. It has been a long time since Spain was part of the launch of an iPhone in the first wave. Specifically, since the iPhone 3GS which was the last to be launched among the first countries.
From that model, Spain began to move to the “second” division. The launch date in each country is relevant due to the delay in deliveries that usually accumulate. The first weeks, Apple usually experiences shortages in production due to high demand, often being delayed up to 4 or 5 weeks.
New capacities and price increase
Phil Schiller began by announcing the capabilities of the new iPhone 7 from 16GB, to quickly correct himself and announce that the storage base would start at 32GB . The prices in the USA have been maintained for all levels, but not for the ones that arrive in Spain.
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have also received their price drop along with new capabilities. In the following table we show the new prices:

If we compare with the iPhone 6s at its launch, the increase is 20 euros for the 4.7-inch model and 50 euros for the 5.5-inch model.
Colors and storage
The iPhone 7 will come in five colors. Silver, gold, and pink gold are joined by two new black ones: one matt and one glossy . This is the big news in terms of colours, as the dark black of the iPhone 5 had to be changed on the iPhone 5s to avoid scratches. About the glossy black finish, Apple warns on its website that:
iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus con doble cámara y Apple Watch Series 2: todas las novedades.
So users who choose it should be careful with it. Apple has also decided to restrict the models that will have this finish to 128 and 256GB , both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
