Apple press releases
It may be a day for us, but for certain countries in the world today is D-day for many machinists. Today, Friday 23 July the iPad goes on sale in nine more countries , increasing its international availability. The nine countries are Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.
The iPad will be available in those countries at all official Apple Retail Stores, as well as at Apple Premium Resellers and through the Apple Online Store. Since the company has managed to more or less send stock everywhere, it is not expected that there will be a high shortage of units during its launch. However, if you live in one of these countries and want to secure an iPad, you should ideally book it on the official website or in an authorized store.
Apple plans to launch the iPad in more countries before the end of the year, although it is not known which countries will be part of the next “wave” or when it will be launched. With these nine countries added, the Apple tablet responsible for record sales and profit figures is already present in 19 countries .
