Todo sobre Live Photos
Samsung would once again be following the iPhone’s lead in its Galaxy range, and in a new strange ‘inspiration’ move, would be preparing a Live Photos-like feature to be presented alongside the S7 . This is at least what Android Geeks claims by quoting internal sources. According to this media, the company’s engineers are already testing betas of the application that will be released in the Galaxy range with the new flagship that is expected to be presented this year.
The Koreans would baptise this function as Vivid Photo and although it came with the Galaxy S7, as we have advanced, it would be available for the rest of the range through a software update later this year. The functionality would be similar to that offered by Apple on the iPhone 6s: when a photo is taken, the mobile phone camera would capture an earlier and later sequence so that the image comes to life.
However, the Korean firm would have opted for a different spin than Apple: Vivid Photo would have no sound What do they get out of it? With no audio, the images can be shared directly on Facebook as GIFs, which would avoid some of the headaches for their users and, more importantly, save them from having to rely on third-party software to edit the footage. These are all the details that have transcended for the moment, in key of rumor, but we are sure that soon we will have more data.
