More than a month has passed since its presentation and it is today when Apple releases the first TV commercial for the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which contrary to what we expected from a first commercial, this one focuses on the star feature of this generation: 3D Touch.
This new ad follows the line we’ve seen the company take in the last few months, where they’ve left those ads with a sentimental charge applied to everyday situations, now the ads are more “Beats” , that is, dynamic, fast takes, voiceover, comic dialogues, and short durations.
In this first announcement, Apple boasts 3D Touch through the various functions it has today in applications such as Maps, Safari or Messages, but all with that voiceover explaining the situation in a dynamic way and with a touch of humor. Being through her as we know the difference between Peek and Pop .
In the 30-second spot, we get a nod to Apple Music, as actor and singer Jamie Foxx , makes a brief appearance using 3D Touch to access his new album “Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses”, available on Apple’s music service. And of course, all this closes the battle line for this generation: “The only thing that has changed, is everything” .
