The FCC gives the go-ahead to the new Mac Pro and its ‘rack’ version

The Mac Pro va goes on sale today , as reported by Apple a few days ago. Before its release, the FCC has given the go-ahead for both computer models. Both the tower version and the rack mount version have received the seal of approval from the Federal Communications Commission. A necessary step for every electronic device.

The new Mac Pro is available in two great models. One is the traditional tower format, where the outer shell slides up and allows access to the inside of the computer. It has a chassis with two handles , as well as the possibility of adding wheels to the tower to move it more easily.

Although many details are known about the tower model, there is hardly any about the one that will be mounted on rack . Apart from an image presented by Apple at last summer’s WWDC, we can only see one that shows the equipment . Thanks to the tests carried out by the FCC, we can see the Mac Pro rack on a concrete block, connected to a screen and other measuring equipment.

From AppleInsider they indicate that the unit is 21.79 centimeters thick. The front of the rack features the two handles, in addition to the characteristic vent of this model. Although the equipment is being sold today, it is possible that this model will appear on the market a little later.
