the buildings of the second phase in Campus 2 begin to rise

Con uno no es suficiente: Apple prepara otro nuevo gran Campus en Sunnyvale

It’s been months since we started to see how the work on Apple’s new Campus 2, despite some administrative problems, was already beginning to go beyond the gigantic ring building. And now AppleInsider gives us this week’s image showing how the second phase of that Campus 2 is already taking shape .

This phase consists of several rectangular buildings where will work about 2,200 employees in Apple’s research and development department, where they will have laboratories and a 0.3 hectare underground data center. And since Apple has now invested a record amount of money in that R&D department, the suspicions are obvious: work will continue there on Project Titan to create an electric car.

This is what the phase two buildings will look like once they are built. As you can see, there will be no lack of large windows and large spaces surrounded by nature:

The buildings will also house 620 parking spaces for all employees. At the moment we know that the main building has plans to be completed by the end of 2016 , although it remains to be seen whether this phase two will be completed much later. We can only think about what kind of future projects the employees will work on in those buildings, because the car is surely only one of several proposals.
