Apple Watch: 8 GB de espacio, 2 GB para música y 75 MB para fotosVía
A few weeks ago, a rumor broke. Some sources pointed to the possibility of the Apple Watch including a port where the straps are attached . Analyzing the Apple Watch promotional videos shown by Apple during last Monday’s Keynote, we can see that such a port is there, it exists.
Initially, it was suggested that this port could be used by the Genius Bar managers to connect the SmartWatch to a Mac and perform diagnostics on the clock to try to find out if it is faulty. Later on, however, it was suggested that this port could be used for future Apple Watch accessories.
We do not know for sure if such a port will exist in the final version of the clock, but everything points to it. In my opinion, the Apple Watch should not follow the same renewal timing as other Apple products . You can’t force the consumer to renew their watch once a year. It’s something like iPod or iPad, one of the reasons (in my opinion) that iPad sales are falling, is because the user doesn’t feel the need to renew his tablet every year.
Perhaps the secret to continuing to make sales is this port. In the future different accessories could appear in the form of straps that add more functionalities to the Smartwatch and that manage to scratch our pockets. More battery, new sensors, more memory… Next April 24th, when the first units start to be distributed, we will surely see more details of this port.
