A KGI publication in August said Apple was planning to launch three new iPads in 2017. In fact, it was even suggested that Apple’s iPad Pro would be updated with three different inch models.
Other recent rumors speculated that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro would be upgraded to a larger size, resulting in a 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2.
Today, from Macotakara, new leaked data on Apple’s new tablets was released. They indicate that Cupertino’s company will launch a iPad Mini “Pro” and a 10-inch iPad Pro 2.
From the Makotakara portal they support the idea of an average-sized iPad Pro 2, but they differ with KGI by mentioning that its size will be 10.1 inches instead of 10.5 inches.
On the other hand, there is speculation that Apple will continue its iPad Mini product line, but they have ventured to ensure that they will now be called “iPad Pro” .
Additionally, the iPad Pro’s 7.9-inch iSight camera is said to be 12 million pixels , and will feature a True Tone and True Tone Flash screen.
On the other hand, and finally, the 12.9 inch iPad Pro will be updated with a 12 MP camera and True Tone Flash. Interestingly, the mention of a 9.7-inch iPad Pro has been omitted, as it was rumoured before.
So, according to the leak, Apple will release a 7.9-inch iPad Pro 2, a 10.1-inch iPad Pro 2, and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2.
How would you feel about changing the name to the iPad Mini? Would you like it to be called the iPad Mini 5? Do you think this marketing strategy will confuse consumers?
