During WWDC, Apple presented the applications awarded with an Apple Design Award at the Moscone West Center. For those not familiar with these awards, Apple gives them to the developers who have created the best software for mac . In addition, as this year’s iPhone application development is very relevant, we also have new award categories for the Apple phone .

The awards were handed out at a ceremony and with each award, the developers win a 15″ MacBook Pro, a 30″ Apple Cinema Display, a 16Gb iPod touch, an 8Gb iPhone 3G, a premium membership to WWDC 2008 and an exclusive marketing package for the upcoming Macworld 2009. Not bad, huh? In the extended entry you have the whole list of winners.
