It was in the last Keynote of March, the one focused on the new services of the company (Apple News+, Apple Arcade and Apple TV+), when those of Cupertino took the opportunity to present the Apple Card, their first credit card designed especially for iPhone users .
AppleApple is taking the first steps to launch Apple Card in more countries, but it will take longer than you think
By activating in a few minutes, users with an Apple Card will be able to make transactions at all establishments where Apple Pay is accepted, see statistics on their financial situation and receive 2% of all purchases made (3% if they are on products or services from the Bite Apple, and 1% if they use the physical titanium card).
At the moment, it is being tested by thousands of Apple Store employees before it is officially launched. And although the exact date is unknown, Bloomberg believes it will be in the first half of August .
If Bloomberg’s prediction is confirmed, the Apple Card would be only a couple of weeks, three at the most, away from seeing the light. In addition, the registration process is very simple: users with an iPhone with iOS 12.4 can register via the Wallet application.
Another strength of the Apple Card is that has no charges of any kind , either international fees or late payment penalties. The only thing is that it has interest rates that, as pointed out by 9to5Mac, will vary between 13.4% and 24.4%.
