A few hours ago we learned that the famous A11 chip has already started to be produced , as reported from the DigiTimes media.
This processor will be used in the next renewal of the company’s flagship range: the iPhone 8 . The only company in charge of manufacturing this component is TSMC , which suffered certain problems in the initialization of the manufacturing process, due to a conflict in the coupling of certain elements.
On the other hand, it should be remembered that this A11 chip could be introduced into other products in the Cupertino’s catalogue. Models such as the iPhone 7s or the iPhone 7s Plus could incorporate it. Remember that these models would still have the same aesthetic appearance as the iPhone 7 pure and simple, but obviously with better hardware.
To date, Apple’s processors continue to be the most powerful in the mobile phone market . Although some of Android’s competitors have invested in high performance processors in their most premium models, Cupertino’s processors continue to obtain the best results in the benchmarks .
We still don’t know exact details about the features and technical specifications that the much sought after iPhone 8 would include. For now, the OLED screen is one of the few features that we can state with certainty. However, during the last few days aspects like the Touch ID integrated in the screen itself could be implemented, due to the filtered photos of the device.
On the other hand, Apple’s could increase the RAM memory of its terminals . While most companies already opt for 3 GB or more, Cupertino’s have not yet shown any model with 6 GB. This aspect does not have as much influence on the phone, since currently the iOS operating system is the best optimized of all . This is why so much RAM is not required to get it working properly.
