This A10X chip would be an improved version of the processor that mounts the latest iPhone model to come on the market . At the moment Apple has not confirmed that it is working on a new generation of iPad, but the leak of a Geekbench has revealed the existence of this A10X processor that should traditionally be part of the iPad.

And it must be said that the results obtained by this A10X chip in the filtered Geekbench are very good and exceed those achieved by the A10 of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Here are more details about the score achieved by both Apple processors in this Geekbench.

Looking at the results of this Geekbench there is no doubt that the Apple A10X processor that will be part of the new generation of the iPad Pro is a real beast. In the tests carried out with a single core it scored 4,236 points, while in the multi-core test it scored 6,588 points .

The A10 chip inside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus scored 3490 points in the single-core test and 5580 points in the multi-core test. As you can see, both processors are very powerful, but the A10X model gives its little brother a great overhaul.

On the other hand, remember that the A9X chip that is part of the current 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro achieved results of 3,010 and 4,990 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
