We already saw several months ago that Apple is planning to take out 3 terminals for this 2018, among them it is speculated that one will be the iPhone X Plus with 6.8 inches, something that just by reading it we know it will be huge, but it doesn’t have to because of the great capacity of the iPhone X to take advantage of every millimeter of its front surface since it has no edges. The fact is that in addition to this rumor about the expansion of the iPhone X, there was also talk of another terminal with an OLED panel display and another one with LCD IPS. What is being discussed lately is that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will replace the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in Apple’s 2018 lineup of terminals.
We’ve said it many times, but it never hurts to remember that the iPhone 8 and its top model, the iPhone 8 Plus, were not very successful in their release since they were presented on the same day as the iPhone X, the current flagship of the block, so most people waited 2 more weeks after the launch of the model 8 to acquire the terminal symbol of a decade since the launch of the iPhone so sales of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were not too good to the point that we have come to see succulent discounts in China for both smartphones.
At the moment it is not at all clear and it is only speculation, but it is very likely that the terminal mentioned above, the iPhone LCD screen with 6.1 inches, will replace the two phones as it is clear that neither of them is being too profitable for the apple so it is also possible that in the not too distant future we will see the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus at ridiculous prices as we are now seeing the iPhone 6 first hand.
