Jonathan Ive asegura no saber nada acerca de las ganancias de Apple
I’m not one of those who likes to stay up until the wee hours of the morning, but I would have loved to have been there: apparently Jonathan Ive was talking very animatedly with who is now the absolute king of electric cars: the CEO of Tesla Elon Musk .
It happened at a post-Oscar gala organized by Vanity Fair, where Ive was a guest with his wife. And I hope that she found another company, because the head of design at Apple was talking to Musk until five in the morning . Nobody knows what they discussed, but I have no doubt that it involved their respective companies.
A collaboration between Apple and Tesla does not necessarily have to be an “iCar”
With the rumors about Apple’s electric car, the subject has surely fallen into the conversation: Ive’s design, Tesla’s battery technology, Apple’s latest innovations… are two companies that in the long run could end up collaborating . I’m not necessarily talking about a car, mind you.
Lately, moreover, Ive is gaining a lot of attention in the media . The latest example is the New Yorker, which published a good interview in which the designer told some current anecdotes and about when Steve Jobs returned to Apple a few years ago. Perhaps Apple wants it to be clear that Ive plays a key role in its products, something that for the moment has only been seen in the explanatory videos when new features appear.
