The use of gestures is a very efficient and productive way of working with our equipment. At Apple we have talked about several applications that allow you to create shortcuts or gestures to perform actions quickly, and BetterTouchTool is surely the most popular.
Today we present SwiftRing, an application for Mac OS X that allows you to enhance the use of gestures with our mouse or touchpad . SwiftRing works on the basis of rings to which you can assign actions. When we press the Command key we can see a ring with the assigned actions, we only have to move the pointer to that action and it will be done.
Whether for universal actions (open new file, close window, …) or particular actions depending on the application we are using SwiftRing allows you to interact quickly without the need for impossible gestures, combinations for elephant memories, etc … In the video that accompanies the article you can see everything more clearly. You can download the application for free. I find it interesting but for the moment I prefer to continue learning the shortcuts of each application. Ojo is still in beta phase which means that it can give some errors.
