If you remember, SwiftKey is that predictive keyboard for iOS whose developer released an SDK for developers to integrate into their apps . But SwiftKey also has a note-taking application.
Well, SwiftKey Notes has been updated today, and already supports the horizontal keyboard on the iPhone . This new version 1.8 also improves auto-correction when typing. Remember that landscape mode has existed on the iPad since the first version, and that SwiftKey does not support external Bluetooth keyboards.
Here is the complete list of new releases :
- Create, edit and delete Notebooks and Labels.
- Click on a note’s viewing pane to edit it on iPad.
- Search through notes using text in the title and body.
- These new features are only available on devices with iOS 7.
Hopefully one of the novelties of iOS 8 will be the opening of iOS to new keyboards , even if it will be with special collaborations between Apple and some developers, and not with a free market as it happens in Android. This is also something that we are quite hesitant about given the closed operating system philosophy of iOS.
