Nothing like news like this to accompany the arrival of new, more graphically powerful Macs. No less than three games have announced their release for macOS during the summer: Hitman, Ark: Survival Evolved and the first part of The Pillars of the Earth.

In the case of Hitman we will have the first full season of the game , which appeared in episodes in its Windows version by Feral Interactive. It will cost 49.99 euros and will be sold through Steam, or through the official website of the developer. It is not known if there will be a second season soon, but it is a good sign that the first one wants to be compatible with Macs. You will be able to have it from June 20th.

ARK: Survival Evolved has been in development for a long time, and Windows users have enjoyed early access while testing. But from August 8th the game will be available for all platforms including MacOS. The game has enjoyed some popularity on YouTube, thanks to the videos that were made about its games.

In the game you start naked on an island, and your goal is to survive. You have to get clothes to protect yourself, a shelter, learn to hunt, to cultivate and to develop new technologies. All without getting caught by the dinosaurs that are loose in the field, which you can manage to tame if you’re lucky.

Finally we have the first part of The Pillars of the Earth , a two-dimensional animated adventure that inherits the synopsis of the book on which it is based. You embody a series of people involved in the construction of a cathedral in 12th century England.

The game will be released for macOS on August 15th, and will presumably be available on Steam as well.
