Do you still think that the Notification Center doesn’t make any sense ? Well, here’s an application that can add a bit of utility to that Mountain Lion feature in case you still don’t find it useful to display all your reminders in one simple listing.
Sticky Notifications is a very simple application that allows us to create, via a keyboard shortcut or a button in the menu bar, a reminder that will be displayed on our desktop as a system notification.
If we are absent from our computer, we can create a note commenting on what we were working on or simply some task that we will have to perform when we return to our computer. If we discard the note from our desktop, it will be displayed in the Notification Center until we decide to remove it completely.
We also have some extras: for example we can add some preferences to the notes, when they are shown and also a URL. If we need to check something on a web page we can add the address directly to the note and interact with it later.
To put a pin in the application, although I think it’s a fee, a price of 3 dollars is a bit high for such a simple function; a price of 0.79 would be much more accurate.
