Powerbeats Pro are the first all-wireless products launched by Apple under the Beats brand. An alternative to AirPods that is more focused on sports performance, with better grip and even better range. Since their presentation they have aroused a lot of curiosity and now that they are reaching the first users, in iFixit they have wanted to open them to see what they are hiding inside .

The exploded view of iFixit shows that these Powerbeats Pro, like the AirPods , are difficult to repair if damaged . Due to their size and some assembly methods used by Apple it is practically impossible to save them if any part is damaged.

If we look at the iFixit video we can see how to open the Powerbeats Pro we have to use a blade with which to cut the plastic in half. This means that when you close it again it either doesn’t fit, or it leaves cracks where liquids can get in, or there is some aesthetic damage. Apart from the Powerbeats Pro itself, the box also has similar features when it comes to opening it and removing the parts.

Regardless of the reparability of these Powerbeats Pro, there are a number of internal features that are worth noting:

  • The headset inside is made up of three main parts: the battery, the motherboard with the H1 chip and the speaker itself.
  • The battery is 200 mWh, much more than the 93 mWh of the AirPods.
  • The box has a 1.3 Wh battery.

So far the Powerbeats Pro have arrived in different European countries, although we will still have to wait to see them in Spain and Latin America. They come in four different colours: Ivory, moss, navy blue and black. And they do so for an official price in Spain of 249 euros .
