iOS 8 is not dead , and although many efforts within Apple and in the developers are focused and working on iOS 9, Apple released just over two weeks ago, the beta of what could be the last iOS 8 update before the arrival of iOS 9 in the fall.
iOS 8.4.1 is a small update , which as with x.x.1 versions solves some bugs mainly in performance and user experience, so we don’t expect big news, but better performance.
This second beta of iOS 8.4.1 makes the jump to build number 12H318 and is only available to those registered within the developer channel. Those who have been able to test this update report that there is a significant improvement in the use of Apple Music, both in terms of playlists and in terms of fewer cuts when listening to Beats 1.
This update will be available via OTA only to those who currently have the first beta installed , or it can be downloaded directly from Apple’s developer resource website. Rumor has it that the final version of iOS 8.4.1 will be available in mid-August.
