Like other similar products, the extra battery allows us to almost double the autonomy.
A-Solar’s Slim Pack has an ultra slim design (dimensions 12×6.2×1.5cm), one of the thinnest of all I’ve been able to test. Its design is well cared for, the finish is good and the feel when holding the iPhone is quite nice. With three bumpers included we can give it different touches thanks to the colors of these bumpers (orange, transparent and black). The way it is placed is different from other battery housings. The terminal is attached to the dock connector on the back (where the battery is) and this is held by the “bumper”.
The downside is that the “bumpers”, a detail the inclusion of three different ones, give me the impression of being more to prevent dissatisfaction on the part of the user. These can easily break with a slight fall or even when removing them if we are not careful.
Otherwise the operation is quite correct, the terminal recharge time is between 3 and 4 hours. The battery is 1500mAh and is charged by connecting it via USB to any charger, for example that of the iPhone itself, and needs about 3 hours to be fully charged. To activate the extra battery we have a button on the bottom which is sometimes pressed involuntarily if we have it in our trouser pocket.
In short, if you are looking for a case with a different finish that allows you to increase the autonomy of your device when you are travelling or you plan to be away from home or the office for a long time A-Solar’s Slim Pack is a good option. Besides, its price is more than interesting, only 39 euros.
