The MacBook range, many options to choose from [Mac Buyer’s Guide Special].

Now that the MacBook Air renewal round has begun, we’re going to start making a special mini special about the options we have on the two big Mac ranges, the notebook and desktop . So what do we have in the MacBook range right now?

Well, right now we have, as you know, the Air range and the Pro range. The first one is focused directly on portability, the second one on performance. Each has its own spectrum of use and I think Apple has a very well defined range . It is not in vain that MacBooks are the ones that year after year manage to make up the balance sheet of the Mac range.

The MacBook Air

As we told you at Apple, the MacBook Air range was revamped this Tuesday. The update has been minimal, just a new generation of Intel processors that get a little more clock speed, from the previous 1.3 to 1.6 to the current 1.4 to 1.7 (GHz) . No further change, apart from a drop in their prices.

The MacBook Pro

Right now we have a 13 inch input model that does not have a retinal screen and the other variants in the sizes of 13 and 15 inches already mount such a screen. This is a laptop mainly oriented to performance . It has a lot of power and can meet the needs of almost everyone, not even needing a desktop Mac.

The MacBook Pro is about to be renewed, it won’t be more than two months until it happens, it is currently 186 days old . It’s more than likely we’ll see an update to the MacBook Pro lineup at the developer conference, but nothing beyond the usual, so if you’re in a hurry to get one, you won’t miss much either.

If we don’t need the ultra-portability of MacBook Air, we’ll always have the MacBook Pro, which gives us more power. Yes, it’s a high-performance notebook that can handle almost any task . Its price range is very wide and will allow us to play with almost any possible configuration when adapting it to our needs.

The “soda” renewal of MacBook Air

The MacBook Air has undergone a slight makeover, which may lead us to try and give it a twist and think that the rumours of a 12″ Air with a retina are not entirely unreasonable . Right now, I would only advise its purchase if we really need a laptop of this kind.

This is not the first time Apple has made a similar move. Recently with the Mac Pro, we saw how they refreshed processors slightly at the expense of what was to come. If you ask me about my personal preference, I will tell you without a doubt the 11″ MacBook Air , I own one and it seems to me the best laptop I have ever had.
