Corel Painter Photoshop, Illustrator… large, expensive applications with features most of which we don’t need. However, I recently discovered Scribbles, a small drawing application that hides a lot of power created by the people in charge of Tweetie, the Twitter client we already talked about at Apple.
Scribbles is fast and perfectly fulfills its goal: to be a perfect tool for simple drawing. It has an infinite drawing canvas so you have no limitations to draw, separation by layers , an interface designed to be able to work comfortably with the tablet pen, and when working with vectors you can zoom in as much as you want and export the work at a resolution up to 16 times higher than the canvas.
A Scribbles license costs $19.99 (13.1 euros) , a fair price for the application and certainly cheaper than other programs such as Photoshop. For those who want to take a look, there is a free version with some limitations, such as watermarks and a smaller size for exports.
