Everything indicates that it will be the great novelty of this year in the iPhone, the jump from the two to the three rear cameras. Rumors on the assembly line indicate that Apple will add a new camera in the successors to the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. Now, the first images of cases for these iPhones have appeared . Indeed, they have a huge back square for cameras.

Case and shell manufacturers need to know in advance what the iPhone is going to look like once it is introduced, so they can design and manufacture their cases in time to go on sale at the same time as the iPhone. Obviously Apple does not give them the design of the iPhone to be presented, but they often get that design through leaks from the assembly line or other places.

On this occasion, a series of images of a transparent case for the next iPhone to be presented in September this year have appeared on the SlashLeaks website. There are practically no changes in size or buttons according to these cases, the only change we do see is in the camera module. The bulge is no longer an elongated oval but rather a square with rounded corners.

On AppleThe successor to the iPhone XR will have a double camera in a square module according to the OnLeaks renders

The leaks and rumors we’ve seen so far indicate that Apple will use a three-back camera system for the successor to the iPhone XS and the successor to the iPhone XS Max. We would be looking at the two cameras we already have (main and telephoto) and an extra ultra-wide-angle type . This third camera would allow us to capture wider scenes in no worse light conditions.

On the other hand, as we saw just yesterday, the successor to the iPhone XR is also expected to bring a rear square module. This time it wouldn’t be three cameras but two that we would have, jumping from one camera to the other right now. In the three models Ming-Chi Kuo indicated that Apple will use a coating for the glass in black with which it will slightly hide the cameras , also in the front area of the notch .
