Final Cut Pro X 10.4.5: news and features

Final Cut Pro X is undoubtedly one of the best editing programs we can use in macOS nowadays. Apple has released a few hours ago version 10.4.5 which includes performance and stability improvements d but does not incorporate any new features. This update comes two months after version 10.4.4 arrived in November loaded with new features for publishers.

If you currently have this program purchased through the Mac App Store you can upgrade for free to this new version, which as we say will give you a better user and editing experience.

The list of new features offered by Apple with this new version of Final Cut is as follows:

  • Improved performance by generating waveforms for clips with no audio channel.
  • Improves stability when sending a project to the compressor using the keyboard shortcut Shift + Command + E.
  • Improves stability when pasting Arabic or Hebrew text into a title.
  • Improves stability when changing the tabs on the timeline index.

As you can see, the new features are non-existent but you video editors will surely appreciate the performance improvements so that you can have a much more stable application to do a great job with the best possible experience.

As we are seeing, Apple is starting to release major updates to this application at the end of the year and during the rest of the year we are seeing much smaller versions where they are trying to polish up the small defects they are finding.

We believe that as it is now this program is quite complete although we follow its arrival to the iPad Pro to really enjoy a multiplatform application to work on devices that we can take with us.

Leave us in the comment box what you think about this new version, do you miss any features in Final Cut Pro X?
