Just over a month ago, Niantic (the developers of Pokémon Go) announced the first wave of Legendary Pokémon in special gymnasium battles. Today, Niantic has decided that it’s time to release new Legendary Pokémon within Pokémon Go.
Pokémon Go releases new Legendary Pokémon for everyone
Starting today, players can discover Raikou, Entei and Suicune in specific areas around the world, Niantic’s introduction of these new Pokémon reads like this:
- Raikou, an electric-type Legendary Pokémon, can be found and fought in America.
- Entei, a legendary fire-type Pokémon, can be found throughout Europe and Africa.
- Suicune, a Legendary Water-type Pokémon, can be found throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
These three Legendary Pokémon will move to new locations on September 30th, then make one final jump on October 31st giving players the opportunity to catch all three without traveling around the world.
Pokémon Go adds more Legendary Pokémon
The rest of the new features of Pokémon Go
Niantic has also taken advantage of this release to communicate more news within its application. Pokémon Go has just confirmed a new phase of EX Raid Field Testing (formerly called Exclusive Raid) in selected gyms. A feature that will be available from September 6th (under testing), although at the moment, it’s not known when it will arrive globally.
If you’re one of those people who put this game on hold, maybe it’s time to get back in the game and try to catch these Legendary Pokémon. An interesting excerpt from this report is as follows:
Niantic announces a new update to Pokémon Go.
Although Pokémon Go has new members, players will still have to wait for one of the most anticipated Pokémon, Mewtwo . However, it is hoped that this Pokémon may eventually make its appearance through the new EX Raid Battles following the announcement of Niantic.
Important news where the most important thing is the arrival of the new legendary dogs (Raikou, Enteni and Suicune) so you can capture them. Keep in mind that the capture of these Pokémon will come with some difficulties and specific dates depending on where you live. However, sooner or later you’ll be able to catch them all if you put your mind to it.
We will keep you informed of any new developments that Niantic may introduce in the coming weeks or months. Don’t hesitate to tell us about your experience with the game during the last weeks and if you manage to capture them.
