As every Saturday, it’s time to review what has been happening this week in the media related to Apple and its news. A quiet and relaxed week before MWC 2017 and Apple’s supposed March keynote, so there are some interesting things coming up . In the meantime, we can take a look at what we have missed these last few days. Start the One More Thing.

  • The new WhatsApp states are very interesting and in fact you can consult our guide to take full advantage of them. However, not everyone likes change, and for these people WhatsApp has the ultimate solution: WhatsApp Taglines. In Applesencia tell us more details of how the app plans to recover the old WhatsApp states.
  • Are you one of those who accumulate hundreds of files and items in the Recycle Bin? Don’t worry, if you always forget to delete and clean the trash, there is an option in the Finder Preferences that will do it for you. In iOSMac they tell you how to activate it.
  • The Touch Bar with Safari is very good, yes, but many people still use Chrome on their MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. If you’re one of these people you’re in luck, because as indicated in I’m a Mac, Google will incorporate the Touch Bar in your Chrome soon, so indicates the latest beta.
  • A new consumption statistic shows us how the average user has spent an average of $40 on applications in the App Store during 2016. Obviously, most of this $40 has gone into games. The study covers only the United States, but don’t be surprised if in Spain the data is very similar. You have more details about it in ActualidadWatch.
  • Linea is a new drawing app created by the developers of Twiterrific. It is made to be functional and make things as easy as possible for the user. Now, as they tell us in ActualdiadiPhone, it has been updated with new features for the Apple Pencil.
  • Would you buy an iPad if it was mouse compatible? This is the question we are asked on iPadizate about the Apple tablet. Being iOS as it is on the iPad Pro, of course a renewal is needed, and including mouse support would not be a bad idea.
  • Finally, we finish this compilation with a little trick from Faq-Mac to color the folders in the Finder. A simple and useful way to better view and categorize our files in the Finder.
