Apple lanza oficialmente iOS 11.0.3, para que tus dispositivos funcionen mejor
A week ago, Mixpanel statistics told us that there were already more devices with iOS 11 than with iOS 10. Now it is the same website that tells us that almost 54 out of 100 iOS devices have iOS 11 installed . According to their estimates, of course. In fact there were higher figures a few hours ago, but they have dropped in favor of the share of devices with iOS 9 or an earlier version installed.
iOS 10, as I write these lines, is present “only” on 38 out of 100 iOS devices as calculated by Mixpanel. That it has dropped from a record 89% to 38% in four weeks is all a milestone in the adoption that other platforms dream of achieving .
Last year, when the iOS 10 was only one month old, there was talk of record 66% adoptions. But in the end, official Apple figures lowered that adoption to what Mixpanel now estimates: 54%. Does this mean that we will see more conservative official figures? It could be, although if it did we wouldn’t be talking about a failure either .
Now, this adoption has to continue at a good pace. iOS 10 reached 76% in four months. The MacRumors are not wrong when they say that iOS 11.1, with new emojis and patches for major bugs such as WPA2 security on Wi-Fi networks, can accelerate that adoption. It’s just a matter of waiting until it’s out of beta and we can all upgrade.
